自己紹介In Australia, it is essential to be friendly, give everybody a fair go and get outside so you can enjoy the great outdoors. Since moving to Japan in 2000, meeting many polite and kind people in this unique country has been a pleasure. As a teacher, I aim to help learners develop English communication skills and gain confidence to express themselves clearly.

研究の概要My specialist area is responsible for developing an English environment on campus and in rural communities. These activities aim to build meaningful interactions in collaborative, safe learning spaces through music, arts, food, and other cultural exchanges.

Over the past decade, I have conducted exchange programs for international and Japanese students to visit schools in semi-rural communities. This included government-sponsored research focusing on using English as a second language as the basis for activities. So naturally, collaboration like this has room to grow, and applying new techniques is exciting for all involved.
